THE MAYUR STORY
Built from experience, not theory.
“Mayur” is a Sanskrit-derived name associated with the peacock—an identity that has been part of the company from the beginning.
The foundation began in hospitality. Growing up around family motels meant learning every part of a property firsthand: maintenance, renovation, guest service, technology and the constant work of making a business better.
Those lessons expanded into technology, retail, branding, automotive sales and real estate development—but the philosophy stayed the same: understand the operation, solve problems, reinvest and build for the future.

The Mayur peacock-feather mark has been part of the company’s identity for years. Rather than replace that history, the new Mayur Enterprises brand builds around it—using the peacock-inspired teal, green, blue and gold palette throughout the company’s digital and corporate presence.

Building & Development
Beginning in 1992, Mayur Patel participated in developing and building hotel properties across Southern Illinois, Missouri and Kentucky.
Charter Communications
As an early member of Charter's data team, Mayur worked across reporting, programming, marketing and risk management, developed early PPV reporting, and created the company's first intranet, InsideCharter.
Retail & Branding
Experiences around Sho Me Bubble Tea and the Lids team at West County Mall helped spark Headz n Threadz, which grew into licensed sports retail and broader branding capabilities.
